"Gunne Sax by Jessica"是古着愛好者不可不知的一個經典古着品牌。
創辨人"Jessica McClintock"自70年代加入San Franiscao的Gunne Sax公司,以partner及designer的身份設計了一系列以維多利亞及愛德華時期為
靈感的"calico印花棉布"、"laced-trimmed蕾絲花邊"的"granny dress老奶奶式襯裙",因為當年hippie嬉皮士運動的興起而受到女士們熱烈的歡迎。
直至80年代,McClintock一年便要設計出2500款不同類型的襯裙以迎合市場的需要,創出每10位美國婦女當中便有9位擁有至少一條McClintock裙
子的熱話,成為西方家傳户曉的經典品牌！
隨著品牌的急速發展,短短於十多年間,便推出不同的副線系列如Romantic Renaissance bridal collection、girls line collection、sleepwear
collection、Scott McClintock sportswear line及香水系列。直至今天,McClintock仍以創新結合復古的設計精神,推出新系列並拓展其網上商店
的生意。雖然品牌的事業高峰期是在最初的三十多年,即是1968至1990年代尾,但其過往推出的古着裙卻是永恆,因為無論襯裙的設計細節、布料
品質及剪裁,都不可與今天同日而語,所以到了今時今日,仍然受到不少時裝人士力捧而收藏至少一兩件以此為傲。
